Do you see that picture? That's me... a screenshot from a video I did a few years ago helping to promote a fundraiser for a non-profit organization.
I hadn't done much in front of the camera before. I was hesitant and shot the 2-minute video over 10 times.
It wasn't perfect, but I was able to publish it and help to raise money for the organization.
Wait... it wasn't perfect and yet still people responded? YES!
We spend a lot of time worrying about getting out content "perfect" before we post it, which often means that NOTHING ever gets posted. How long have you been thinking about posting on social media or starting a blog, only to overthink it to the point where you never post.
The video I shot didn't have perfect lighting, it wasn't perfectly scripted, but it was enough to get the intended response from the audience.
Your social media, video, and/or blog doesn't have to be perfect. Take a chance and do it.
Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
